About Me -

Well let's see. I'm thirty-two years old (born in 1976 if I don't update this section next year, lol), born and raised in southern New Jersey (I can see Philadelphia, PA from my house). I went to the University of the Arts Philadelphia where I majored in Animation with a minor in Film (neither make me any money).

I'm a jack of all trades but master of none. I've waited tables in everything from diners to fine dining. I've worked in construction, but not as a Union member so I got screwed continually. I've done the retail thing and hated every second of it. I've been a Director of Audio Visual Sales and Services in a major hotel. One summer before I went off to school, I dressed up as the Red Power Ranger and took pictures with kids on the boardwalk in Wildwood. I was a stock boy at a liquor store, and a bar back at a tavern, and a bus boy. I've worked as an independent contractor, an A/V technician, and I'm damn good at finishing sheet rock.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm still looking for my calling... something that I actually enjoy doing for a living. So far there have been no openings for a guy who travels around the world all expenses paid just discovering what's out there. I'll keep looking though, maybe tomorrow's paper will have it listed. :)

I'm single, straight (but have been with men on occasion), a hopeless romantic (love can conquer all), an Aquarius (Feb 13th), and looking for someone who's like me (opposites only attract in movies). I've been burned in most of my past relationships, cheated on and treated like crap, but I still hold out hope that not all women are nuts, just the ones I've been with.

I'm a self proclaimed geek and I wear that badge proudly. I played Dungeons and Dragons back in college, I love science fiction and fantasy movies/books, play rpg video games, watch Monty Python and I know how to hook up electronics.

With the above now out there, you might be picturing me as some fat pasty comic book reading dork. Nope. I played football in high school (first string corner back), swam on the Varsity Swim Team, class president Jr and Sr years, very popular in college (threw the best parties), watch sports (football and hockey GO EAGLES AND FLYERS!!!), and I enjoy adrenalin inducing activities (sky diving, scuba diving, skiing) though I don't get to do them very often.

I don't drink that often, but when I do it's beer or tequila (not so much of that any more, that shit is lethal).

I love music, so long as it isn't rap, hip hop, r & b, country, or western. Mostly I listen to rock or modern, but I also love punk and classical. My favorites are (in no order): Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Nine Inch Nails, The Killers, Jane's Addiction, Metallica, Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, The Ramones, Radiohead, The Who and Faith No More.

I don't have very many favorite authors. Stephen King is cool, but I hate most of his endings. When I want to read horror, I read Clive Barker. I like what I've read of Dan Brown's work, Da'Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. Sci-fi will always be Robert Heinlein for me. In fantasy I like David Eddings, Raymond Feist, and of course... J.R.R. Tolkien.
